Shipping & Delivery
Effective Date: March 04, 2026
LEGUM LEX (the "Enterprise") facilitates the dissemination of legal documents and digital legal services through various logistical channels. This Shipping and Delivery Policy outlines the procedural standards for the physical dispatch of legal notices and the digital activation of infrastructure services for our Users.
Clause 1: Modalities of Document Dispatch
Formal legal communications, including but not limited to legal notices and statutory demands, may be dispatched through recognized postal and courier services to ensure legal validity and evidentiary compliance. The primary modes of physical dispatch include Registered Post (Acknowledgement Due) via India Post, high-priority Speed Post, and recognized national courier partners. In certain service categories, formal electronic communication via verified mail servers may be utilized as a primary or supplementary mode of delivery.
Clause 2: Operational Timelines for Service Delivery
The Enterprise endeavors to ensure rapid turnaround times for all service engagements. Digital legal infrastructure services are generally activated upon the successful completion of KYC and the settlement of applicable consideration. For physical document dispatch, the Enterprise targets a dispatch cycle of twenty-four (24) to forty-eight (48) hours following the final approval of the draft by the User or the supervising advocate. The subsequent transit time is subject to the performance and schedules of the third-party postal authorities or courier services utilized.
Clause 3: Monitoring and Tracking Protocols
To maintain transparency and professional accountability, LEGUM LEX provides automated tracking for all physical dispatches. Users shall be furnished with the relevant tracking identifiers (e.g., Article Number, AWB Number) once the document has been successfully processed by the logistical partner. The Platform's tracking engine interfaces with third-party logistical APIs to provide real-time updates on the status of the notice from dispatch to final delivery or return.
Clause 4: Limitations of Logistical Liability
While the Enterprise employs rigorous monitoring, it shall not be held liable for delays, losses, or misdeliveries caused by third-party postal authorities or courier services. Any delays resulting from inaccuracies in the recipient's address provided by the User are the sole responsibility of the User. In the event of a non-delivery or return, the Enterprise shall coordinate with the User to facilitate a re-dispatch, subject to the payment of additional logistical costs as applicable.
Clause 5: Geographic Reach and Jurisdictional Coverage
The logistical framework of LEGUM LEX is designed to provide national coverage within the Republic of India. Document dispatch services are available to all Pin Codes serviced by India Post or our national courier partners. International dispatch services are subject to specific feasibility assessments and additional commercial terms.
